During my pregnancy I constantly searched for pregnancy safe products and ingredients. I am an avid believer that you should always be cautious of what you expose your body to, especially when you are carrying precious life! There are also some key items I simply could not live without during my pregnancy, especially in my last trimester. I wanted to share with my readers all of my must have products during pregnancy.

1 Must have product during pregnancy: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Face Moisturizer
This moisturizer is a must have during pregnancy, and beyond! During my pregnancy I had horrible acne in my first trimester. I tried every single “pregnancy safe” and organic moisturizer out there, and my skin only got worse. When I found this moisturizer I was a bit skeptical, because I thought only the most natural ingredients would clean up my skin. After I did a bit more research I found out what a powerful ingredient hyaluronic acid really is. You can read more about that here.
After I started using this lotion my acne not only cleared up, but my dark spots disappeared, and my skin was brighter. If I did get a pimple it was gone in a day! I still use this lotion daily, and I no longer have to wear any makeup or bb cream. This has been life changing!
2 Must have product during pregnancy: Tree to Tub PH Balancing Facial Cleanser
This facial cleanser was difficult for me to find, so I am super excited I get to share it with you! As I mentioned above, I had terrible skin during my pregnancy. When I found this PH balancing cleanser, I thought that it was too good to be true. I decided to give it a shot, and WOW! The foaming bubbles took away all my impurities, but didn’t dry me out. When I combine the Neutrogena lotion and this cleanser, my skin is on point. This is also a must have product during pregnancy, and beyond!
3 Must have product during pregnancy : Dr Bronner’s Pure Castle Liquid Soap- Lavender
For me, body wash was a crucial item to go as clean as possible. I tried a few other organic body wash and lotions, and my skin did not react well. After I tried other products, my skin was red hot and flushed. I knew I had to try something better. All of Dr Bronner’s product’s are made with the best ingredients (this toothpaste is also amazing).
This body wash is so simple. The ingredients are all organic oils. It is made without detergents, synthetic preservatives, or foaming agents. This is why it is a must have during pregnancy! The best part is you only need a little amount since it is super concentrated. I personally love the lavender scent (the peppermint is a bit too strong for me).
4 Must have product during pregnancy : Burt’s Bees Mama Belly Butter
Any Mama to be knows that the top must have product during pregnancy is belly butter. You must moisturize that belly to prevent stretch marks! All of Burt’s Bees products tend to steer closer to the all natural side (always check your ingredients, I have seen a few of their products veer off on this). This belly butter made me shine! Now that I have returned to my normal size, my belly looks the exact same as before! No stretch marks in site. The only thing I wish I did was apply it in more places. This can work on your thighs, and back as well. I ended up getting a few stretch marks on my back, and wish I used this all over!
5 Must have product during pregnancy: Queen Rose Pregnancy Pillow
All Mama’s know that sleeping during pregnancy is rather impossible. “Get your sleep while you can!” they say. If it were only that easy! However, with this final must have product during pregnancy, night time might not be as bad. This Queen Rose pregnancy pillow is insanely soft to touch. You might not want to give it up post pregnancy. It completely cocoons you on both sides. You can fit your belly right in the curve on either side. The material is machine washable, and easy to maneuver in multiple positions. Be prepared to get comfy!
That’s a wrap!
